Mac gamers can enjoy many of the same features that have defined Origin for PC users: including cloud storage to save and continue games, social connectivity via friends list, and more.
One of our great features will be of particular interest for gamers who play on both PC and Mac machines: dual-platform play. For select EA games (that are available on both PC and Mac), you can buy a title once on Origin, and when you log into Origin on either Mac or PC, that same game will appear in your newly unified (Mac/PC) My Games library.
- To uninstall The Sims 4, right click the game in the Origin Client and select “Uninstall”. This also removes any additional add-ons and game packs you may have purchased for your game. Uninstalling the game this way should not delete any of your game files, however, Crinrict suggests backing up your Sims 4 Folder.
- Wait for the game to be copied to the new location. Once the copying process finishes, open origin and click on “My Game Library“. Selecting “My Game Library” from the left pane; Click on the game that you copied to the newly selected install location. Click on the “Download” button. Note: Don’t worry as the game will not actually.
Uninstall/Delete current Origin install. You'll then need to get rid of your current origin setup. If you're moving from one drive to another, you'll need to first uninstall origin, then delete its install folder. Make sure to select 'No' if it asks if you want to keep its settings.

Introduction
To be able to load faster, Origin stores data in so called cache files. Origin checks on startup if those files are available and if so, they are loaded. If they are not available, they are created.
Over time these files accumulate out-of-date data and because of this, it’s best to delete them from time to time (just as you delete your browsers cache from time to time)

Which files are those ?
Make sure Origin is not running anymore by clicking on the Origin menu in the system tray and choosing Exit.
The files to delete can be found here:
- C:ProgramDataOrigin — Everything except for the following sub directory: DO NOT DELETE: C:ProgramDataOriginLocalContent
- Origin folder in C:Users<username>AppDataLocal
- Origin folder in C:Users <username> AppDataRoaming
Deleting these folders has no influence on the games in your Origin library. Those are saved to your account and have nothing to do with the actual Origin client.
